Vanishing Point!
When combining images to create a scene, you might find a need to add texture or a pattern along what is supposed to be a three-dimensional object. You might, for example, add a product box to a photo of a kitchen and need to add a logo to the front of the box. Or maybe you will create a room, perhaps in a castle high on a hill, and you’ll need to add a realistic stone texture to the walls. Use the new Photoshop CS2 Vanishing Point feature to “map” a pattern to angled surfaces, such as walls, floors, buildings, and boxes.
Vanishing Point, using information that you provide, automatically determines the correct angle, scale, and perspective. (Vanishing Point is rather complex, so for simple jobs, you might want to stick with the Paste and Edit–>Transform commands.)
To use Vanishing Point, you follow a specific sequence of steps:

Our heartfelt condolences go out to the family and friends of Jef Raskin, who most consider the father of the Macintosh computer.
Mr. Raskin was born March 9, 1943, and died on February 26, 2005. He joined Apple as employee #31 in January 1978. It was Mr. Raskin who started the Macintosh project at Apple Computer, with the idea of creating a cheap and easy to use computer marketed to the masses.
MyMac.com conducted an interview with Mr. Raskin back in September 1999. We asked him if, at the time, not receiving credit for his role in creating the Macintosh was upsetting. He wrote “I am upset when the creation of the Mac is attributed to Jobs. It’s sloppy reporting. On the other hand, Jobs’ role in bringing the Mac out was also crucial, as were the contributions of hundreds, indeed, thousands of others at Apple and elsewhere.”

iBrotha.com, Writings from The Fevered Brain of Rodney O. Lain, Back Online!
Minneapolis, MN – June 23, 2004 – Patrick Rhone today announced that iBrotha.com, the website of the late Macintosh Columnist Rodney O. Lain is now back on line after nearly two years. Rodney O. Lain, writer, public speaker, race traitor, Christian iconoclast and unabashed Mac advocate, was known by many in the Mac community as “The iBrotha”. He wrote for various print and online publications including MacAddict, The Mac Observer, AppleLinks, Low End Mac, and more.
Rodney passed away in June of 2002, committing suicide after a long and often hidden struggle with depression. Since that time, iBrotha.com, his website, has been offline and there has been no central archive of his work. Patrick, together with many of Rodney’s friends, found most of the pieces of the iBrotha website and worked with DomainSpa, the current owners of the address, to get the site back online.

It is getting increasingly more difficult to find links to other Mac related websites. More and more, or perhaps less and less is a more appropriate term, the Mac websites out there seem reluctant to link to other Mac websites. There was a time when almost every Mac website had a links page, a dedicated place to find links to other Macintosh resources on the Internet. One such place is MacPicks, be sure to check them out as well!
While there are specialty Mac linking websites out there to find new Mac related news items or stories, such as our friends at the super-popular MacSurfers Headline News, there is very few places to find static links, with a description of what the site offers. We here at MyMac.com aim to change that.
Since this will be a continuously updated list, I have broken the links up into sub-pages. Simply click the category below for links to those websites that fall under that category. There are some websites, which defy a single classification, such as MacObserver.com, which offer reviews, news, and commentary, so you will find those listed multiple times.
