2068

Roger has gone time traveling again, for the first time in a long time. He has accomplished so much. The twenty-two years he was Jon was very enjoyable for him. He later helped our friends get the word out about the Ringship, when it was time to do so, and together they (we) spent some years in so many of the timelines, which have finally been repaired. Giving Nanocytes to the world was I think the most wonderful thing we have ever helped accomplish. Contrary to that published Tmeline, we wisely did not release time travel to the general public six years ago. I don’t think people will ever be ready for it. All in all, it has been a very busy century.

Roger and I gratefully retired together 5 years ago, traveling by the new stellar liner to Edelweiss and a few other wonderful planets. We only came home to Silver Lakes last year. The Earth is so much sweeter now. There is just no place like it anywhere.

But Roger grew restless. He once mentioned his time spent in a boot camp, somewhere in the past. He said he always felt a bit of regret that he left his buddies and went AWOL when there was a war on. He spoke of their tank company and plans to go overseas. I suspect that this is where he went, to rejoin them before they knew he was gone. “Just tying up loose ends,” he said.

I haven’t heard from him for a while now. I did find this, an old clipping from some newspaper, among his things. So I wonder how he is, or where he is.

I do wish he would come home.
