Commuter Series Case for iPhone 6 – Review

Apple’s iPhone 6 is a beautiful piece of design and function. Thinner than previous iPhone models, larger in size, it just seems to fit one’s hand perfectly. However, that thinness and the iPhones material seem to make it something that does seem to move by itself at times, especially out of the users hand if they forget that they are carrying it around. Add to that the tendency of most people to simply slide it into ones pants pocket and you might have a recipe for messing up ones brand new iPhone.

Macworld Expo / iWorld Day 1 – MyMac Podcast #441

Elisa, Guy, Julie, and Vicky get together at the end of the day. Tired and sore, but sitting down to talk about their experiences at Macworld 2013. It’s been an interesting show so far. Ashton Kutcher does an exclusive interview (no he doesn’t) to talk about his feelings (as if) about life, acting, and his love for the MyMac website (PLEASE don’t really believe this is true). Lots of vendor interviews from the floor but the real gem in this podcast is Ashton (someone please check Guy’s medications).

iPhone 5 Defender Series Case
Review

I have been using Otterbox cases for my iPhones since I purchased my first iPhone. Well known to be solid and dependable, built to protect an iPhone from just about everything, Otterbox has continued to do so with the Defender case for the iPhone 5.

Otterbox Reflex iPhone 4 Case – Review

The Reflex is a departure from Otterbox’s usual case design. It’s much sleeker and streamlined than the Defender Series, while still offering superior protection for your iPhone 4. While on the expensive side at $44.95, the level of protection you receive while still maintaining functionality is well worth the investment. I’m constantly reminded of this as I use my iPhone throughout the day.

Otterbox Latch – Review

The Latch is an accessory made of what looks like Cordura Nylon that can be strapped onto the back of your Otterbox encased iPad. It comes in one color at this time  black. Elastic bands strap onto the corners of your iPad, holding the Latch securely in place on the iPad’s back side. A well padded handle built into the Latch allows you to hold your iPad in one hand without fear of dropping it.

Commuter Series Case for iPad
Review

I decided to go with the Commuter series case for the iPad, wanting to protect my iPad but I didn’t really want to totally encase it. The Commuter is designed to be stylish yet protect your iPad from the everyday clumsiness that befall all of us. Inside the package is a polycarbonate outer shell to offer one layer of protection, a silicone skin that is there to cushion the impact and provide a soft interior shell for your iPad to rest in and a clear screen protector, designed to cut down on the greasy fingerprints and scratches that we all leave on the front of our iPads. As you can see in the pictures, Otterbox gives you everything you need to protect your iPad. Yet with all of this, the added weight to your iPad is minimal, being only 7.2 ounces.

Review – Otterbox Defender Series iPad Case

When I found out about Otterbox’s new Defender Series case for the iPad, I jumped at the opportunity to review it. I couldn’t wait to see what they had for the iPad. I wasn’t disappointed.

Otterbox Defender iPhone 4 Case – Review

Many of us will be receiving a new case from  Apple as a result of their ‘˜Antennagate’ response program. None of the cases offered by Apple offer a degree of protection that is anywhere near that of the Defender. If you put your iPhone 4 through its paces at work or play and don’t mind the added thickness, the Defender is the case for you.

Four iPod Classic Cases
Review

iPod case selection is one of the most random, haphazard, subjective purchases made by iPod owners. The four cases being reviewed address most of the concerns an iPodder will have once the case is in active use. An iPod 80GB Classic was used for these evaluations. Both ezGear and OtterBox have comparable cases for all the latest (and many previous) iPods, plus the iPhone.

OtterBox for iPod Nano
Review

The OtterBox is everything that it is claimed to be; designed of clear polycarbonate, the case is waterproof, dustproof, drop-proof, sandproof and very rugged. A thin membrane that permits it to remain fully functional through the case protects the ClickWheel. The belt clip that is included provides cable management for your headphones; just wrap the cord around the clip to allow only the length of cable that you wish to be available for your use.
