Before I get to rating the rumors let me first note that my pre introduction reaction piece was prescient. Yep, I nailed it. Well I was a little wrong on the expandability gripes but in general what I wrote before the release was in line with what people are saying after the release. What? You question my veracity? One of the things that bugs me, besides the idiotic swift boat veterans, is the fact that rumor sites and speculators get off without a single ding in credibility when their predictions turn out to be wrong.
Here’s a great example, this a$$ predicted a touch screen deal. Moron, I wish he was dead. If I ever meet him I am going to fight him. Grade F—-
Office ’04 Harbinger of New?
It’s pretty much MyMac policy not to name other websites when being critical. I think this is to keep their identity secret. iMac kills eMac, No optical drive, 32 MB of video memory, the errors continue. They were close on some specs but off on others. The worst thing is they said they had “incontrovertible” evidence. Apparently the evidence was in fact errrr “controvertible” and left me feeling less than “gruntled.” Grade: D+
