Elisa, Guy, Julie, and Vicky get together at the end of the day. Tired and sore, but sitting down to talk about their experiences at Macworld 2013. It’s been an interesting show so far. Ashton Kutcher does an exclusive interview (no he doesn’t) to talk about his feelings (as if) about life, acting, and his love for the MyMac website (PLEASE don’t really believe this is true). Lots of vendor interviews from the floor but the real gem in this podcast is Ashton (someone please check Guy’s medications).

The rest of the day I’ll spend looking at the booths I missed yesterday, and sitting in on a few tech sessions. It’s a lot of fun meeting the vendors and software developers of products I use regularly, like CrashPlan, Wiley, and Boinx.

iPads and other tablets have progressed to the point where, frequently, you can leave your laptop at home. The real limitation of these mobile devices is inadequate storage space to carry all of your files. Seagate’s Wireless Plus deftly solves this problem.

4:15AM-my alarm clock rings. It should be illegal to get up that early in the morning, but it’s a necessary evil to catch a 6:30AM flight from the east coast to San Francisco. My first Macworld. MY FIRST MACWORLD!!

Everyone tired of hearing about my journey to San Francisco for the Macworld Expo yet? I know I’m tired of talking about it. So blaah, blah, blah long trip, snowy roads, attacked by a crazy feline, airport security, bumpy flight, taxicab, hotel. Are we good? Terrific. Let’s talk about something else. My craving for an In-and-Out burger instead.

Contrary to popular belief, traveling is not fun. No matter what method you use, there are always hassles. Go by car? Traffic jams especially in the northeast corridor. Flying brings its own joys like dealing with the TSA and the potential for full body cavity searches (unless you’re into that kind of thing). You can probably go by train or bus, but that just takes too long. Trains can be fun, just not in the United States and buses aren’t any fun no matter where you live. In my case each year for the Macworld Expo I try to combine the worst of both worlds.

Adobe is a company that you know if you’ve edited photos before. Adobe Photoshop Touch has been optimised to work with the iPad mini as well as already working with the regular iPad. Enjoying editing photos as I do I was very happy to have a look at Adobe Photoshop Touch and see what it can give to its users.

So no Guy as he’s still travelling to California, but wait is that James from woodpad.co.uk on the other end of line?
James joins Gaz and they chat about all the normal stuff, also James tells us how he uses his Apple TV now he actually has a TV that can utilise the HDMI output. Gaz also briefly chats about the Apple results and the possible reasoning for the Stock share reduction, but is he panicking, no of course not.
The iPod is an intriguing device. It was once the poster child of Cupertino, and whilst sales per annum are still extraordinarily strong, they are somewhat overshadowed by the iPhone and iPad. That doesn’t make the iPod or the history of the world’s favorite music player obsolete.
