The new iMac is here. The keynote is over. It was good.
The new iMac was the only new hardware introduced.
Someone called it an ETCH-A-SKETCH on a stand. (That’s a poor shot!)
Its very advanced with the new G5 chip and NVidia card.
It has three quiet fans. Its all aluminum but painted white on the front.
On your desk it looks like only a monitor and keyboard are there.
But there is NO small iMac. No headless iMac.
Nothing is portable or wireless.
The only thing under a Grand is still the eMac.
Is it better than the last iMac? Oh yes!
Its faster, cheaper, and there is no more base.
They will probably sell a ton of them.
But the future is not here yet.
The minature, wireless iMac future, we talked about.
