My oldest son introduced me to Mambo. I was, of course, resistant to it at first, being the old fart guy that I am.
But, after using it for a while, I was convinced and converted. No more writing HTML for me, easy as HTML is, for Mambo is automated CSS (Cascading Style Sheets). And it is pretty cool, even if it has a bit of a learning curve.
There is a little history here too. Mambo has diverged, over a ‘disagreement’ between developers. Therefore, Check this out. Joomla is an identical version of Mambo, and in the future, it may be a better front end. Time will tell. Right now, these two apps are identical – and powerful.
Makes a web designer feel like Rambo with code.
