Review – Acme Made Hardback Folio

The Hardback Folio outer cover is made of linen, and looks like a book, complete with spine, while the interior is lined with soft microsuede. The Kindle is placed in a silicone skin that uses Acme Made’s proprietary technology, called ButtonDown, which enables the Kindle to be rotated for left or right-hand use, then buttoned into the cover.

Harmony with Electronics

Wouldn’t it be nice to consolidate all of these remotes into one? I thought so, and I went to Logitech to see what this well known maker of universal remotes had to offer. I decided to take the Logitech Harmony One Advanced Universal Remote (Hereto referred to as the ‘H1’) for a spin.

iPad App Review – The Elements

The first thing you notice about The Elements is the HD graphics. In a word, they’re stunning. The app opens with Tom Lehrer’s famous Elements song where he sings the names of all of the elements. As the song plays, each element’s native state appears as a rotating high-definition video, filling up the Periodic Table of the Elements as it goes. If you’re interested in science at all, it’s awesome.
