Wireless PA System? Reader query

I give a lot of lectures/slideshows for work and sometimes have to hold a microphone if it’s a large group or if many of them are hard of hearing. The latter is rather common with my groups!

I hate not having my hands free and wonder if there is some kind of wireless PA system I could hook up through my G4 Powerbook (running 10.2.8). Ever heard of such a thing? I’d like to have that to haul
around with my Mac, digital projector, screen, and whatever, so I am totally self contained.
