Does it bug you so much you’ve become distracted? Does it cause you to lose sleep at night? Have you lost the ability to concentrate? Has this problem caused you to lose weight?
What problem? Finding the perfect Mac, what else?
Macs are nearly perfect, aren’t they? Beautiful, affordable, elegant, reliable, fast, empowering – these are just a few of the terms and Apple Macintosh computer deserves today. Macs are the best they’ve ever been.
However, for the frustrated designers out there, and the people with certain needs, even the Mac is not perfect – yet.
Here is my list of important features for the perfect Mac:
My perfect Mac would be portable and a bit smaller and lighter than today’s iBook.
It would have at least the speed and computing power of a Mac G5.
My perfect Mac would be the size and shape and weight of a minimal Mac desktop keyboard.
Its keyboard would be a real desktop no-compromises touch typing keyboard.
It would have a high resolution, ultra wide monitor that could be positioned anywhere above the keys.
It would be wireless and always connected to my cable modem.
It would never need to have wires or cables connected to it to operate.
It would run for a week without needing a charge, and charging it would only take a few minutes.
It would need no hard drive, but could connect wirelessly to hard drives on my mini Mac server.
I could also also watch television or DVDs on it, with the server also being a carousel of DVD and CDs.
My perfect Mac could be purchased in any color, including black.
Its operating system would be much faster, more elegant and simpler than OS X (with NO Dock).
It could be purchased for under a thousand dollars.
OK. That’s my list of the features of the Perfect Mac. What are yours?
