Monday Morning . . . ???

WOO HOO !!!

Another Monday Morning, here folks!

Time to rise and shine!

Put on the COFFEE.

Wind the cat. .

er, ah, . . .

(Where is Everybody?)

WHAT?

HOLIDAY?!!

We just had –

But –

But I got Maidens to slay, and Dragons to woo – Wait. Reverse that.

(Sigh!)

Iffin I don’t get a RUN at MONDAY, my MEDS will kick in, and before you know it, it will be time for my Early Morning Nap, and if I miss that, then it interferes with my Late Morning Nap. And if THAT happens, my WHOLE DAY is off schedule!

RATS!

I just HAD a HOLIDAY! – At the 2005 MacWorld Expo!

It was the BEST TWO DAYS of my life – since CHRISTMAS and NEW YEARS, 2004 – Which was the best two days of my life, since November 16th, 2004, which was my BIRTHDAY (at my age, even being able to have one is a TWO DAY celebration…)

The 2005 MACWORLD EXPO!

If you wonder WHAT HAPPENED THERE? – Just look at all the ARTICLES, PHOTOS, and BLOGS about it, HERE at MYMAC.COM!

We seem to have the LOCK on excellent and prolific REPORTING about All and Everything concerning THE EVENT of the YEAR.

MacWorld isn’t just about the awesome NEW TECHNOLOGY, and the gripping, exciting, “One More Thing” of the KEYNOTE.

It’s about the PEOPLE you can meet there. Fast Friends. New Friends. Great Parties to enjoy together. Free Food to share. Places to go together. Times to share with each other.

Sure, it’s the MAC that brings us all together. But after that, it’s the RELATIONSHIPS we share in life, that keeps this INSANELY GREAT community together.

MyMac has community here, and to spare. People I don’t just admire, but whom I respect – whose friendship, freely given, is like a Badge of Honor.

Those TWO DAYS last week – Monday and Tuesday, made me feel both celebrated and honored, even though there was no particular party or award. John Nemerovski, Owen Rubin, David Weeks, and David Casseres were there in person, and made those two days something wonderful for me.

Tim Robertson, our Publisher here at MyMac, made it possible for me to go as an honored Member of the Press. You will never imagine all the many places that Press Pass got me into, and all the Wonderful Things I got to see and write about!

That was the MOST FUN I have had – since Christmas and New Years, 2004, 2003, 2002 . . . well, since EVER!

THANKS, TIM!

More than even all this, there is the solid relationship I have been honored to have with so many of the writers here at MyMac. David K. Every has written here this past week. So has John Farr, Carmel Glover, Mark Marcantonio, Chris Seibold, Bruce Black, and Guy Serle – honored friends, and compatriots all.

Far be it from me to fail to mention all my other friends and active writers here at MyMac.com! Adam Karneboge, Bailey, Beth Lock, Brian Kestel, Dawn Schultz, Tim Hillman, Evan Kleiman, Ilene Hoffman, Jason Kim, Jason Rainbows, Jeffrey McPheeters, Jeremy Hammond, John Martellaro, Jonathan Murnane, Kenneth Paul, Lee Aronson, Maria Langer, Mick O Neil, Nate Eaton, Russ Walkowich, Steven Adelson, Tad Scheeler, Todd Long, and Tony Williams!

Nor is there ANYTHING quite like this large and busy MAC COMMUNITY, you know? Loose Knit. Yankee Mentality. Critical Thinkers. Creative Professionals. Common, ordinary, every day people who do EXTRAORDINARY THINGS in their lives, and in this world. THIS group of PEOPLE I am also honored to get to know, and to serve – for a great number of you are our READERS!

The 2005 MacWorld Expo was not just about the new, exciting, cutting edge, world-class, beautiful Technology.

It is about the PEOPLE who go there, who dream there, who work hard to make those dreams a reality for everyone.

Thanks for the memories of this past week. They were UNFORGETTABLE!

And so are each of you!

Regards, and Love,
Roger Born
