I flipped on the live feed of MacWorld. Marvelled at the assemblage of sprue chewing geeks and switched it off. Gave in to temptation and switched it back on.
Good lord, people that excited about a box of wires and chips…it’s just not right. I understand that a bunch of the folks there are journalists, vendors and buyers and it makes sense for those folks to be there. I would wager there are also a bunch if people there just for the “coolness” of being at MacWorld….losers.
My only question remains: If you’re at MacWorld on your own dogh, just for the geek factor, does that mean you can see one less trek convention this year due to budgetry concerns?
Of course I am home watching on the ‘net. This makes me lamest of all, there goes that DS9 paste eat a thon I was planning on catching..
