Glory Days For Apple

Even people who don’t use a Macintosh have to admit that these are great days for Apple.

Steve Jobs is well and back on the job.

Apple has another billion in the bank.

Stocks are way up, and Apple’s stock has major market analysts telling us to buy it now.

Market share for the Mac is up, with almost another million computers sold this year.

Market share for the iPods are way, way up, with over 2 million sold, and perhaps another million to be sold by Christmas. The iPod has over 70% of the market now.

Apple is opening even more Apple Stores, and they have five new mini Apple Stores opening this week. The design of these new stores is phenomenal and breathtaking.

iTunes is even more popular, with a 150 million new songs sold. iTunes in Europe is taking off too.

Apple’s suite of cutting edge, easy to use software has no equal in the computer world, with such programs as GarageBand, iTunes, iPhoto and iDVD giving Mac owners a far superior computing experience that is unparalleled anywhere.

Even prominent hard core PC journalists in major publications are waxing rhapsodic over the new G5 iMac, which reminds them of those magic white iPods they so love. Apple has hit another one out of the ball park with the new, elegant and world-class design of the G5 iMac.

The only weeping you will hear anywhere is over at Dell, Gateway and Microsoft.

There are a lot of people in business and government who are looking seriously at Apple’s OS X on the Mac as a viable and secure replacement for their feeble and insecure Windows boxes.

More important than even this good news, is the fact that kids everywhere are asking their parents for Apple portable music players for Christmas this year, rather than just any of the 95 generic portable music players that can be bought on any street corner. To them, nothing is cooler than an iPod. Even their parents think so.

These are Apple’s glory days, I believe.

Imagine that!

If things keep going like they are now, they will finally have to close that Apple Death Knell website, won’t they?

Hope your weekend and your week are as good as Apple’s.

=)
