America is still a great country, in spite of our flaws. I, for one am tired of hearing about nothing but the wrong things we do. I think its high time to recognize how many areas where America does the best job in the world.
I ask that our readers help out and list those items, things, services, etc. that America does better than the rest of the world. Remember, military is not to be included.
Just to start, here is a few items I propose:
Cross Pens- World treaties signed and astronauts use them
GE Medical Equipment- The best MRI machines and the new visual portable stethescope, just to name two
American Hardwired Telephone Grid- Spend time with foreigners and they all say that the American phone system is clearer and more reliable
Aviation Control- 9/11 proved that when tens of thousands of planes were directed to airports quickly and efficiently. In addition, the daily traffic on the east coast is mind boggling, yet tens of thousands of planes land safely every day.
