Macspiration Quicktip: MultiG For Your iPad

My wife and I use my iPad to check our various email accounts. The problem with the Mail app is that it displays the last email read and there is no way to that I have found to turn this off. If there is a private email you have to go back to your inbox and find a not-so private email and click that before shutting mail. This is a real pain.

On the iPod Touch, this is not a problem. You just go back to the accounts screen.

Since my wife uses gmail, I decided to search for an app that might help. I found MultiG: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/multig-gmail-google-apps-simplified/id369442234?mt=8

MultiG is basically Gmail in an app. The great thing about it is that it remembers your login information, so you just open that app and it logs into the set account. It is not as fast as the mail app, but it is perfect for what we need.

Best of all? It is FREE! (for two accounts, anyway)

Problem solved!

(By the way, there is an iPhone/iPod version of the app also included as a universal app!)
