Christian Pickman, Micromat product manager, proudly holds up their newest gem, winner of Macworld 2006 Best of Show. It’s a plugnplay 1GB FireWire thumb drive filled with premier utilities and its own compact OS X boot volume.

Crumpler’s wacky tent display had its own living room covered with colorful bean bag chairs full of reclining colorless bag people.

Tucked into a corner of Apple’s u-shaped giant demo area was an enormous RAID array cabinet of XSERVE drives, fans, and power units, providing muscle, data, and juice to every computer on Apple’s elevated tables.

Nemo and Owen wave goodbye to 2006 Macworld (photo by Artie), with big smiles on our faces in anticipation of the great products we and our colleagues will be using and reviewing for MyMac.com. Thanks again to IDG for sponsoring the Expo, and to our publisher, Tim Robertson, for his support this year and every year.

See you at MWSF 2007!
