Snap-To 2.0.1 – Review

Snap-To 2.0.1

This will be a somewhat short review. Why? Well, Snap-To is a neat little utility that does what is says it will do, and does it well. Snap-To is a Control Panel devise, so it loads up at start up, thus there is always a concern about compatibility with other Control or Extension devises.

In any open dialog box, like a save or open, snap to makes the cursor “snap” to the defaulted button, just like in the Icon above.

You do have some choices! The cursor can either jump right to the button, or slowly glide over to it. After you click the mouse button, the cursor will either stay where it is, or “Snap” to its last position..

Snap-To is only $5.00 Shareware fee. I guess it is worth it if you use it, and find it saves you a lot of wasted movement. I have tried it for a few weeks now, and I still don’t know if I will keep it. It does take some getting used to, but I am beginning to really like it. Does not mean I will continue to use it, but I am thinking about it.

Should you get it? Sure, why not. It has never caused a problem with any of my other Extensions or Control Panels, it is small in size at only 77K, and it is only five bucks.
Besides, like any shareware, you only (should) keep and pay for what you use.
