11,400 BTU

I knew someone who was in Washington today, working the President Regan funeral. I was watching, and watching, and then I spent twenty minutes installing a window air conditioner (11,400 BTU) in an upstairs window at about shoulder level. (My back will bitch at me tomorrow, or possibly tonight, I am sure.) So I get done, light up a cigarette, and keep watching the casket precession. Guess what? I missed the part where I knew my friend would be. (The moment they transfer the coffin from the hearse to the horse drawn cassion. I MISSED IT BY THREE MINUTES!

ARRR!!!!

Damn it…

Anyway…
Did you know that, even if you never plan on buying anything from Amazon.com, you can actually put their website to good use? (And I don’t mean grabbing album CD cover artwork for your iTunes…) I have been using their “Wish List” as a place to store items I plan to purchase one day. Not from Amazon necessarily, but it is nice to have one place to go and look at my growing list. “Ah-ha! I forgot I wanted THAT! One of these days…”

I was reminded of it earlier when blog-hopping, and came across some guys blog in which the only advertisements he has it links to his wish list. Wow, does that really work for him? Let’s try!

Ha!

…Darn, guess not, eh? John Farr should do one, and put “Free High-Speed Internet” on his. Or at least “Make New Mexico Have 21st Century Amenities” That would be good.

It is just me, or is anyone else simply getting hammered with Viagra spam? Or, V1AG RA, V-I-R-G-R-A, LITTLE BLUE ROCK HARD PILLS! I mean, I am getting well over one hundred of them. A DAY!

RRR

Starting my own eBay store. Not much a Mac reader would be interested in, of course. Actually, it is off to a small start, but I have over 55 pair of designer jeans I am about to post. Long story short, I have a guy, he gets designer stuff CHEAP, I sell on eBay, we split the profit. So far? Made over $400, though a bunch of that was my own stuff. Still, not a bad start I think.

Site Pick of the Day: Engadget. I love this site. I find that if I miss more than two days, I feel like I may have missed something important. That is the mark of a good website!
