Platforma Messenger Bag for iPad
Strotter
Price: $170

Strotter’s unusual Platforma Messenger Bag for iPad is basically a high quality carrying case that can be converted to a sort of desktop that dangles from your neck and enables you to use your tablet without holding it in your hands. If you’re actually a messenger running around town on a bike or motorcycle, you might use the added functionality of the desktop, but I suspect most people will simply enjoy the Platforma because of its high grade leather, it’s quality hardware, its small but useful dimensions, and its attractive appearance.

Levenger Bags – Review

On February 19, 2013, in Review, by Elisa Pacelli

Staff Bag
Company: Levenger
Price: $79.00

LevengerMacworld|iWorld Expo was fast approaching and I needed a bag for the six hour plane ride and to carry in San Francisco. I didn’t want a backpack because they tend to be too bulky, and I knew I would be constantly banging into displays and innocent people on the show floor. I wanted something I could wear across the front of my body, with easy access to my iPhone and mic.

When the Levenger Staff Bag arrived in the mail for me to review shortly before Macworld I realized I had a win-win situation. The Staff Bag was exactly what I was looking for, and Macworld|iWorld would be the perfect place to put the bag through its paces.

The Thule 15″ Crossover Messenger Bag Won’t Disappoint
Company: Thule

Price: $89.95 USD

As a high school science teacher for the past 18 years, I’ve had the opportunity to try out a number of bags to carry the myriad of papers, laptops, iPads, and books back and forth to school each day. I put these bags through their paces and I’ve seen some pretty decent bags and some pretty awful ones too. When Thule sent me their 15″ Crossover Messenger Bag, I could tell right away that it was built with quality and durability in mind. I’ve been using the bag for most of the past school year and it still looks like a brand-new bag.
