Mogul DJ Ear Pollution Headphones
iFrogz
$40 to $70 online
Guest review by Devon Gilbert
The first things you notice about the new Mogul Earpollution DJ Style headphones from iFrogz are the sleek, stylish design and color scheme. These headphones are clearly meant not only to deliver great sound quality, but also to turn heads of people around you. They are portable and fold in half for easy storage.
If you are annoyed with how some headphones have twenty foot cables, you will appreciate the Mogul’s 5-footer. The large, flat, padded style of the headphones fully covers your ear and slightly conforms to the shape of your ear to deliver better sound quality and comfort. One downside to the design is that on higher volume levels, anyone within 20 or 30 feet can hear your music. Although this doesn’t matter if you are out at a loud club as a DJ, many consumers want to keep their music to themselves.
WaterField iPad Wallet, Hard Candy Stylus and Pen, Griffin Technology iPad Tablet Stand, and Griffin Technology Elan Passport Graphite iPad Folio Case
Guest iPad gear review by Jackie Richards – Part Four. Many of the items reviewed below will make great stocking stuffers any time of year.
iPad Wallet
Company: WaterField Design
Price: $79 U.S. (plus optional straps and D-rings)
WaterField’s iPad Wallet has an clever design for storing and carrying an iPad plus an Apple Wireless Keyboard and several accessories. It is a premium all-weather product. The construction and design are stylish, attractive, and suitable for men and women. This tote can be ordered with or without two kinds of strap and/or D-rings, as customized from the company’s web site. Six outer colors are available.
The Wallet’s rectangular shape is enhanced by genuine leather edging, in addition to rugged outer material. Interior padded pockets “keep your iPad and Keyboard separate and safe,” according to WaterField, and that claim is accurate. A loose premium nylon mesh rear pocket is deep enough for a small purse, several cables, or a book.
Which style of iPad case is best for you? Let’s look at three different models, with our guest reviewer, Howard Nemerovski.

Kensington’s remarkably small, weatherproof FX 300 universal portable one-piece speaker is an instant favorite at MyMac. Washing the kitchen floor yesterday, I hooked its strong, flexible D-ring to my belt, as I listened to most of the current MyMac podcast with maximum convenience.

iFrogz Vibez Speaker System
Company: iFrogz
www.ifrogz.com
Price: $24.99
There I was, in the conference room setting up for a presentation. I needed sound for a clip within my Keynote presentation. They had one of those mounted overhead projectors all wired up with sound. I reached behind the Windows machine and unplugged the audio and video cables and plugged them into my MacBook. The video came up, but no sound. Beads of sweat formed on my brow as I tried in vain to get sound out of that system. The presentation was set to start in less than ten minutes and some early birds had already arrived. Read on to find out what I did.
What would you think if I told you I found a speaker system for my iPod that was so small I could pop it in my pocket? Amazing, right? Yeah, that was what I thought. The Vibez speaker system from iFrogz is an amazingly small “hamburger” type speaker. Continue reading »

Looking for a unique iPod case for your 3G nano? How about some speakers with that case? Look no further than the iFrogz Audiowrapz speaker case. The Audiowrapz (AWZ) from iFrogz is an interesting case, in that it covers two functions most iPod nano owners might be looking for: iPod protection and integrated speakers. The AWZ case itself is 100% silicone and covers the nano almost completely. The corners are reinforced side bumpers and appear to offer good shock absorbing protection.
