This month's cover illustration was inspired by a print I own by an anonymous Japanese woodblock artist and is dated from the turn of the century. I find the print sums up the feeling of inner peace and serenity, and used the basic composition and concept to inspire this work. -Mike Gorman (nycgorman@aol.com)
