If that’s a metal bumper with no padding, it won’t be good for protecting the phone. A rubber bumper would be better. Also, a really good bumper should have an attachment for a wrist strap. I can’t tell by the video what the headphone socket looks like, but many bumpers disallow many headphones.

There is padding on the inside, but no wrist strap attachment. I had no problems with any Esoterism bumper using headphones.
