I purchased this software based on the good reviews. I purchased istopmotion2 at the Apple Store for $49. It had a CD, a manual, and the usual packaging.

However, once I installed it and launched it, it refused to run and demanded that I pay an additional (minimum) $49 for a license. At this point, it was getting kind of expensive just to see whether or not it would work.

Yes, there is a "free demo" license available, but I bought the software already. I don't want a "demo" that nukes itself after some amount of time or is so gimped I can't complete the project that I bought the software for.
